The DCB Club 2025 – Berlin, Germany
“Drug-Coated Balloons in Contemporary PCI – From Science to Practice”
The Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) Club returns to Berlin in November 2025, bringing together global experts in interventional cardiology for an immersive two-day programme focused on advancing the science and clinical application of DCB technology in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Designed for experienced operators and opinion leaders, this year’s meeting explores how DCBs are reshaping the future of PCI—from initial lesion assessment to long-term patient outcomes.
Structured around cutting-edge scientific sessions, the agenda dives deep into the pathophysiology of coronary artery disease, the evolution of DCB technologies, and the strategic considerations for their use in various complex lesion subsets including bifurcations, CTOs, high-bleeding-risk patients, and STEMI/NSTEMI scenarios.
Attendees will engage with the latest clinical trial data, explore contemporary imaging and lesion preparation techniques, and discuss drug selection, hybrid strategies, and emerging alternatives like bioresorbable scaffolds. The meeting also emphasizes open dialogue through focused Q&A, breakout sessions with industry, and collaborative consensus-building—culminating in a forward-looking discussion on future research needs and key messages for a DCB consensus paper.
Led by pioneers in the field such as Bruno Scheller, Franz Kleber, Raban Jeger, Victor Jimenez, Simon Eccleshall, Ulf Landmesser, Tuomas Rissanen & Fernando Alfonso, the DCB Club is more than a scientific forum—it’s a collaborative platform driving innovation and best practice in DCB-based PCI.
